I'm working on a forum for VR users (Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Samsung Gear VR, Playstation VR, etc).

The site is at VRfora.com - Virtual Reality (VR) Forums

Would like some input as to which of these logos folks prefer. Please vote and comment.

Should assume the last two have typos?

I like the simplicity of #1, but the shape is a bit busier than #3, which I think would work better if it didn't have the fussy detailing on the VR unit (button on top, hard white edge around screen, hard reflection line).

I'd like #2-3 if the implied 'o' was a little better pronounced amidst the illustration. Otherwise I also like #4.

Yep, exactly. I think that reads better and is nice and clean. You might even be able to increase the line-weight / thickness on the screen bezel just a touch so it will reproduce better on small screens, too.

I liked #5. You have the isometric view of the VR device, while the name is separate. I think having the "f" lower case helps differentiate it from the "VR", along with the two shades of blue.

    I like #2 and #5. Can't decide!

I don't like the full circle in #2 because it looks more like a scuba or space helmet at that point. I don't like the goggles icon from #4 and #5 because they are not being worn, which I think sends a different message than showing the goggles being worn.

I seem to like the designs with the goggles not acting as the "o" and off to the side. It seems cleaner and easier for the icon to stand by itself.

So with all that said, I might do #5 with the helmet from 1 or 3.

I like the last two, but it projects a more cutesy vibe. Not sure that will be right for your intended market.

Thanks, everyone! I made a decision. Let me know what you think of the new site!

VRfora - Virtual Reality (VR) Forums

I'm going to do some kind of giveaway there to try and kickstart the place. Maybe a Rift, Vive, or possibly a nice graphics card or phone. Open to ideas!
