    Currently I have both 14mm f2.5 and 17mm f2.8 lenses, and also I have the 12-50 with the OM-D

I think they're too similar and I should sell one of them, but I'm not sure which one.

P14 has faster and quieter AF, but the 17mm isn't slow or too noisy. The 14mm is too wide for "single lens kit", the 17mm is more versatile.

My idea is to have the 12-50 as a multi-purpose lens (traveling, macro, wide angle, video, etc.) and then have one or two more pocketable and faster primes for walkaround, great bokeh, and indoor use. I think the 25mm f1.4 would be perfect, but it's too expensive for me (I can have the 14mm/17mm f2.8 + 45mm for less than half the price of the P25)

Should I keep both? When I'm going out I always leave the 14mm at home  I think the more logical thing is the 17mm f1.8 but it's too expensive for now

If you leave the 14mm at home, no reason to keep it around. Sell it and put the money to saving up for either the 17 1.8 or the 25 1.4. Its good to have a fast normal.

Maybe I should sell the 17mm now that the f1.8 is still expensive, and buy a black 17mm f1.8 when it arrives.

I thought I wasn't going to like silver lenses on my black E-P3 but I was wrong. I really love bling.

I had a 20/1.7 and I sold it. I liked it although the AF is a bit slower than the 17mm f2.8 and it hunts a lot in the dark, but that wasn't the reason for selling it.

But I think that it will be depreciated a lot in a short time (if the 17mm f1.8 price drops)

My OM-D is silver, but I think black lenses look better, whatever the body color they're mounted in.

I would sell both the two lenses , replacing them with Oly 17 1.8 or Pana 20 1.7.

this is probably what I would do, too.

the prices of prime lenses hardly ever go down unless something new & revolutionary comes along. so good luck waiting for the 17/1.8 price to be affordable.

With the 17mm f1.8 coming as part of the kit with the E-P5, it might be possible. You only have to look the used vs new price of the 14mm f2.5

At this moment, the 17mm f1.8 costs $600 in Europe, $100 more than in the US

What about the banding problem with the OM-D?

keep in mind, the low used prices on the 14mm are a bit of an exception in the m43 lens world. panasonic blew out a bunch of GF3/14mm kits at very, very low prices to where people could actually make money buying the kit and then selling off the body & lens separately. this over saturated the market for the 14mm. that hasn't really happened with other m43 lenses, which, in general, tend to hold their value for a long time.

If you always leave the 14mm at home, sell it - unless you would use it indoors (party, holiday) and find the f/2.5 useful.

Other than taking pics of interiors to share, my eye has a hard time "seeing" in wide angle. Try leaving your 17mm at home and taking the 14mm. Can you use it? Do you like the photos you take w/ it? Or does the 17mm's field of view just feel more natural?

Go through the photos you've taken w/ your 12-50 and see what focal lengths you use the most... that tells you which prime you'll be happiest with. How often do you need a fast lens (interiors, parties, lower light situations)? How fast do you really need? Then you'll know what to save your money for.

Sell the 14 and the 17 and then get the 17mm f1.8. I personally don't care for that focal length but it sounds like you do so might as well get the best lens. Then you have the focal length you use but an extra stop+ of aperture and better AF and sharper IQ.

Sell both your primes and buy the New 17mm or the 25mm.

My choice would be the 20mm, but you said you didn't like it. I'm surprised you found the AF on the 20mm worse than your old 17mm.

The 17mm 2.8 AF is noisy but it's faster than the 20mm AF, it's not a big difference but quite noticeable
