Can anyone recommend the best Noise Reduction and Noise Filter settings for the Olympus EP3?

You want Noise Reduction set to Auto or On. It's not "noise reduction" as most people would usually think of it. It's used to remove hot pixels from the sensor when doing long exposures.

Noise Filter is what most people think of when you're talking about removing noise from a picture. It depends on your taste. You'll still see some noise at the Low setting. At Standard there's definitely less noise but there is usually some minor loss of detail (pick your poison!). I wouldn't really use High at all myself.

For my personal setting I use Auto + Low.

I would suggest you take some high ISO comparison shots (1600) with the Noise Filter at Off, Low and Standard and compare and see what you prefer.

If you're a RAW guy, doesn't really matter much what Noise Filter setting you use anyway...
