NM Floods, Abstracts - Sigma 30

    I like the effort, but to me you haven't portrayed a flood. To look at your series it would seem like an old unused road. The pictures themselves are composed fine, and exposure is good...outside of that there is no story to be found..

    Just my .02 since I assume you wanted some sort of critique

    thanks swampduck. I was more after capturing images that conveyed an emotional response more than telling a story.

    I like the idea of doing a series from an old unused road! :)

    I like where you show the different patterns created by nature. I might just crop them all down to just show the abstract elements of shape, color and texture.

    Thanks MajorMagee! I usually shoot more like this, but in this case wanted to preserve the surrounding a little more exploring the line between abstract and landscape. I will be aware of this next time I am out shooting something similar.
