So I went to the Nitro Circus Live show last week in Philadephia PA. An amazing show, with nonstop entertainment. Mostly BMX and FMX on some really big ramps. My viewing angle was right behind the landing ramp. Did not have any opportunity to move around as I would have liked. According to the facilities web site (Wells Fargo Center) you can bring a lens up to 100mm in size, not focal length. So I packed my Olympus EM-5 along with the 45mm and 75mm. The 75 comes in under 100mm in length. The lighting was horrible, think of concert lighting, all different temperatures along with some pyro added in the mix. I shot in shutter priority to try and eliminate as much blur as possible, trying to keep at least 1/250 or faster. Used auto ISO because one moment I was at 400, the next 6400. I took a lot of shots, a couple hundred. Realized that due to the lighting and the fast movement that the EM-5 did not like AF-C or AF-C tracking. I had the most success with AF-S, along with Hi speed burst. Most all the shots are at f1.8. That said, I'm still in love with this little EM-5! {} P1091511 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091589 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091538 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091347 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091359 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091401 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091299 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091651 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091673 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091730 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091738 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091773 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr {} P1091783 by Fred R Wilson, on Flickr Thanks for looking, Fred
