    Hi all,

I would like to ask if anyone had used the Nikon 50mm f1.2 ais with your micro four third cameras and if all is good?

Thanks for your comments in advance.

    Cheers.

I usually keep my 50 1.2 on the Speedbooster with my E-M5 combined with the upper portion of the grip. The battery part of the grip is in the other part of the bag (The E-M5 in that setup would be too big to put into the bag otherwise). I keep that as my "grab and go" setup.

I would recommend it if you plan on shooting it around f/2 or f/2.8 or f/1.2. It is Nikon's sharpest 50mm lens:

And you're getting a f/0.9 lens out of that. The Voightlander Nokton 25mm f/0.95 (Speedboosted 50 f/1.2 = 35mm f/0.9) costs around $1k. If you're smart and look around eBay a little you can probably get a 50mm f/1.2 in great condition (No physical damage, practically little/no wear, perfectly functional) for mid-400USD if you're patient. A Speedbooster costs about 430USD so it's a very competitive option if you like making your own exotic lens options.
