My last image with my last copy of the Nikkor 180 2.8. :frown:
This was on my long gone V1 with FT1 adapter. Approx 486mm equivalent.

Wonderful lens no doubt but I can only imagine how massive it must appear on a m43 camera.
Actually it weighs exactly as much as a O40-150 2.8 and is smaller in size and quite cheap if bought used. Its sharp wide open and has a very nice rendering. The new Lumix 200 2.8 is way heavier and bigger and importantly way too expensive. The 180 is a full metal lens with a nice built in metal hood. Its slightly front heavy as were most Nikkor telephotos of its time, but balance is not bad on a larger body such as a GH5.

Used my Nikkor 180 2.8 on a focal reducer for the first time on a safari in India. Yes its much slower to use than my Nikkor af lenses but the results aren't bad at all. This is on a GH5 wide open on an early morning safari. The shallow DoF is very much visible here.
