First few shots with this heavy beast of a lens.
From the serial number it appears to be a copy from 1971.
It's my first adapted lens so I am still learning how to use it.

Thanks for showing us Robert. I'm very interested in the Kogaku Nikkor lenses and the 85mm certainly looks very sharp. How far approximately were you from the dragonfly? And what f stop did you use in these particular images?

    Thank you.
    I was about 5 feet away and shot at f 5.6 and f 8
It seems that 3 ft is the minimun distance for this lens when used on the E-PL2

Very nice shots! I have a Nikkor 50mm 1.4 of the same era, great glass!

Hi. I happen to have the same lens, but the H.C. version. I adore it. I hope you don't mind I post a few samples. I like the 3D quality that this lens renders.
This one is shot with an E-PL5

    This also with the E-PL5:

This one I took with an old Lumix G1:

About 10 years ago, I had excactly your version of the lens, and I used it on a Canon EOS (rebel) 350D :)
