and it's the biggest 'supermoon' of the year, likely coming up over Half Dome, so there will be that AND the best shots at 'moonbows' around upper and lower Yosemite Falls.

And suggestions specifically for the moonbows? I'm not a night shooter, and am taking a 7d and a GH2.

For the GH2, the glass is:

    20mm 1.7
    40-150mm Oly
    135mm 2.0 Minolta Rokkor
    200mm 3.5 Minolta Rokkor
    50mm 1.7 Minolta Rokkor

Shooting will likely be from Sentinel Bridge parking lot (or perhaps just in the meadow next to it, to get away from what are surely going to be whopping hordes of fellow shooters)

I've got tripods and remote shutter releases, and likely wont' be attempting the lower falls due to the ambient mist and wetness around it. 'Light Painting' won't be involved, since that parking lot is at least a mile from the actual falls

Oh, and if anyone else from this board will be there, I'm bring a lot of great Monterey and SLO county wine and some really top shelf cheese, so let me know.

    You know, for sustenance.
