This seems to have turned into a bit of a cult item. Locally here they still command pretty steep prices. I always loved the look of it.

It is beautiful - from the photos it looks like a work of art.

This has more than a passing look of a Leica, the VF is at one end and when using the right eye to view the left eye can still see the outside world, this is pure leica M.

No mirror quiet shutter large sensor for its type and a beautiful lens it really is a handsome camera.

The build is much like the DMC-L1 beautiful in materials and finish feel way above all those plasticky droopy entry level DSLR's

The camera looks nice, good controls and great build-in flash, but the lens is actually the strongest point (taken into amount the size as well as price)

• The lens alone, 14-50 mm with F2.8-3.5 , is susposed to be already worth the original price
• Compare this with kit zoom of 14-42/45 mm both with F3.5-5.6 or the "super zoom" of 14-140 mm with F4.0-5.8
• I have seen some used for sale at a reasonable price, but then found it was a body-only offer

Either way the L10 was intented to be the successor of the L1, maybe the GF2 will be...
- and for sure more good m43 lenses to come (for a main lens I don't want to give up AF nor IS)
