Hi Guys, i have only recently joined the M4/3 world, i am wondering if i would be able to use a lens i got cheaply the other day. It is a Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 DL MACRO Canon Mount. I got it for $30.00 Aud ,So i thought what have i got to lose... Anyway i havent been able to find anyone that uses one on a Oly E-PL1.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

  2. I had one which I used on my Canon 350D years ago. It was actually a reasonable lens on the Canon, but I wouldn't recommend using it on a Micro 4/3 camera. $30 is a bargain but because it is an EF mount you will have no control of the aperture. Unless you have a Canon DSLR to use it on I'd just recommend reselling it and pocketing the profits. Still, if you're prepared to pay about as much for an adapter as you did for the lens then by all means give it a go.

These are a couple of example pics taken using the Sigma on my old Canon
