Hi, my name is Joe. I've been shooting photos for quite a few years now. I've always had SLRs/DSLRs and recently grabbed an E-P1 on my trip to NYC. I got tired of lugging around my D200 and lenses and decided a m4/3 was the way to go. So far I'm having fun with it.

Welcome to the m4/3m family! :) It really does make life so much easier, doesn't it?

Thanks! It really does. Don't get me wrong, I'll always love my full size DSLRs but when I'm traveling or shooting for myself, I don't always want to feel like I'm carrying a small child around.

I am in nearly the same situation as you! I have a D200 with various lenses, but wanted something smaller when traveling, and more user-friendly for when I teach friends photography, so I picked up a Panasonic G2. I'm actually going to New York next week to visit my mother and will be taking the Panasonic, so we'll see if I end up coming back with anything!

    Welcome!

Since I got my E-P1, my D200 has been essentially replaced.

Thanks guys! Ned, that dog is awesome.

I don't think I'll ever really replace DSLRs as my work camera but I don't see myself carrying one around as my daily camera anymore.
