Hands on: Pixelmator launches smart, significant new upgrade | Macworld
For us, win users, is it some sort of lightweight, simplen and instagram-like image editor? My gf was looking for something like this on her laptop, do you know if there is something similar for win?
Mac program? look at Acorn, only runs on 10.8
Acorn 4, a great Mac OS X image editor, built for humans.
He's asking for an alternative on Windows.
I hear people speak of Corel PaintShop, and I know Photoshop Elements is really good but both are quite a bit more than Pixelmator.
There is always Photoshop Elements
You might look at Corell
AftershotPro looks interesting
But your getting up towards $100
Pixelmator and Acorn are inexpensive solutions
special offers from Corel
merosen: Thank you for your advice, I am using photoshop + camera raw, so I wanted something easier for my gf, this seems like a nice application, that acorn mentioned earlier looks good too, and simple as well. It's a pity that win programs aren't that great designed and made for "ordinary" people, if you know what I mean - something that will suit girl with GF3, and she's got GF3 only because it's made in red finish and I said that gf3 is the best option, in red
I just bought the thing yesterday and today it gets updated! Thanks for the tip. Now I need to learn how to use it.
