Hello all, I am new to the micro 4/3 format after buying a used body earlier this month. I am a Canon SLR shooter but wanted something with decent manual controls and good image quality. So... I bought a Canon G12. After using it I found it much to slow for me for many uses. Image quality was good, not great. Zoom was nice but I am used to shooting primes so not really necessary. In short I started looking again when someone told me to check out micro 4/3. A micro 4/3 with a pancake lens is only marginally larger than my old G12 and way more flexible with much better image quality. So I found a nice, used Panasonic GF1 for sale and took the plunge. Looking forward to using it as my everyday/travel camera!
