I haven't had the kit lens since I first bought my camera (I sold it). Recently some vision issues have prompted me to get a few more AF lenses. I just got an Olympus 14-42 kit lens and I have to say I don't recall it being as nice as I am finding it. It seems to auto focus a lot more quickly than I remember and the images are remarkably good. I used to shoot a regular 4/3 (and E500 then an E520) and as I recall the 14-45 and the 14-42 we're both pretty terrible. What happened?
