    Hi everyone,

I've been reading about the micro 4/3 systems pretty much since the G1 was released. Last week I finally decided to get one for myself. I bought a G3 with 14-42 kit lens and so far I am really enjoying it. I still have a lot to learn about it, but of course that goes for any new camera. I hold the G3 in hand and my D200 in the other and just marvel at the light weight and compactness of the G3. And at ISO 800 and above it blows the D200 away. I love the articulating lcd, it's already allowed me to get a couple of shots I would have had great difficulty with otherwise. I am also quite impressed with the evf. An eye level viewfinder is very important to me.

I was reading some threads last night and you all seem like great people. I'm looking forward to learning from you and hope to someday be able to contribute.

Welcome from another seriously impressed G3 user!

I spent some time researching lenses and trying the two I bought with the camera (14-42mm and 45-200mm). I quickly sold the 14-42mm and replaced it with the significantly better Panasonic 14-45mm.

I have also invested in the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 and the Olympus 45mm f/1.8. I'm very happy with all four lenses and am looking for an Olympus 9-18mm to complete the outfit.

    Thanks for the welcome everyone.

@foto2012, I've already thought of getting the 14-45 to replace the kit lens. After that I'll be getting the 20 1.7 I think.
