A test with the OMD.
Looks really nice. Looks like 10 aperture blades (I briefly paused at a bokeh-y bit and counted) - looks nice and smooth.
The question is: Do we really need another 17mm? It would be nice to see them hit some of the gaps in the system - like a fast 100mm or a less expensive UWA in the 7 - 8mm range (rectilinear).
Bob, by the T1.6 designation this looks to be a cine lens (declicked aperture, possibly toothed focus ring for focus pull rigs), which I don't believe there is a 17mm yet. I'm with you on the less expensive rectilinear though
And allso the SLR lenses tend to be quite a bit cheaper then for instanse the Voightländer or Oly 17/1.8.
Nice video. I thought the OMD was supposed to be rubbish at anything but stills!!
