I just won for $21.00 on EBay, a Konica Minolta Hexanon AR 50mm f/1.8 for Konica. The seller states that it is compatible with the GF1 without an adapter. Does anyone know if this is correct?

Just an aside..I also purchased the Panasonic 20mm lens..waiting for it's arrival. Can't wait to use it...just counting down the days till it gets here. So hard to get a decent price in US if you can even find one.

    Best to all!

I'm very happy with my 20mm (it was a birthday gift)
it's part of my "light travel" kit.... :)

    Hi

It is not correct, you will need an adapter like this one

    Thanks

Thanks...I am not experienced enough to know if someone is "pulling your leg" when they state these things...but at $21.00 for the lens I feel I'm safe enough money wise to get the adapter to use the lens. In other words...$21 for the lens is not bad so another $90 or so is ok.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction and answering my question.

...and once you've got the adapter, you can keep your eye out for some more bargains.

The Hexanon 40mm f1.8, 57mm f1.4 and any of the 50's are potentially fantastic - just make sure you find copies in good condition...

I have a small gallery of example images for a number of Hexanon AR fit lenses used on the Olympus DSLR here.

    Cheers

I've been getting my adapters from HERE as my first adapter took very long from China.

I'm thinking a Konica 28/1.8 would make a good "normal" lens for a u4/3 camera. I also have the Konica 40/1.8, 57/1.4, and 135/3.5 for my FT-1. It's better than the Nikkor 28/2. Which would also make a good normal lens...

Yup- Nina needs one of these...

Like I said... mine was based upon quick shipping. My first FD adapter
took over three weeks and drove me nuts... :) Some adapters cost
more because they have light baffles inside, etc. I've been happy with
all the ones that I've gotten fron Rainbow.
