Beautiful colors!

Been interestedin going to Portugal ever since discovering our family name is that of a royal (!!) line in Portugal. Would probably stick except for my very Asian features. Haha!

I love this series of photos which convey this beautiful little town. I especially like the photo of the purple flowers creating a relief on the wall as the pathway recedes into the town. I would have returned to photograph that spot several times in different light just to see what is revealed.

In fact I was in Óbidos to attend a weeding and my time was a bit limited, but the town has a lot of small spots to be explored. Given the very narrow streets, it's a bit hard to avoid shadows, but I was amazed by the sort of detail it was available (for instance on the nr 3 above) even on an "old" E-PL3.

The weeding was on the main part of the castle (now an hotel). I share a few more pics on that area, you can see the group at a distance on the first one, the ceremony was on the wall itself.
