    GN 58m at ISO100. This thing is a beast, at least for m43.

    As far as I can tell, fully compatible; same hotshoe/wireless protocol.

    Just me, but if this is analogous to other mid/high-end flash differences, the bigger flash will have wireless master capability, more power (in this case, GN 58 vs. GN 36 on the FL360L), a sync port, and a battery pack port. I really like that an IR filter is included--makes a lot of sense if you're going to use one as a master unit.

    Still, $600 seems a bit pricey, given that a Canon 600EX-RT goes for $450 these days.

    Interesting! I didn't know this was coming. I'll be interested to see if it can keep up with the likes of my old 580EX. I like my FL600R, but sometimes more power would be nice. Heck, I'd be happy if the flash would turn on reliably when the camera did!

    I see that the recycling time (b&hphoto) is 1.7 to 2.7 seconds which seems incredibly fast to me. I think the FL600r is at least 5 seconds.
