I found a new Panasonic 20mm f1.7 II silver lens on sale in Ebay UK at £185.99. It came from a GF6 according to the seller. There are more than 10 still available. I checked other similar lens on sale (apart from the auction items) and even the used ones are more expensive.

I just bought one taking advantage of a 10% voucher from Ebay when paying by Paypal so I paid £167.39 for the lens. I am expecting it by Friday. I always wanted to get this classic despite the mixed reviews/user experiences and I think it came at the right price so I grabbed the opportunity.

Thanks for the information - they're now £199.99, but that's still only about £15 more than the better second-hand ones. I bought one last week and it arrived yesterday. I'm looking forward to using it!

Excellent lens - really pleased with it. Despite the autofocus speed being a little slower that the kit 14-42 and the 45-200 lenses, I find that it is just about quick enough to keep up with toddlers providing they're not moving around too fast!

But I'm getting much better photos than using the 14-42 lens as I can eliminate motion blur and use lower ISO settings with the 20mm. It's ideal for indoor photos and is so small it feels less intrusive.

I've posted an example in the showcase thread: https://www.mu-43.com/showthread.php?t=298&page=385&p=727424#post727424
