    Hey everyone,

    I'm from NC, USA.

Sold my Canon DSLR last year, and have owned a NEX F3 since the summer. Hate the NEX lens selection. Started reading a lot about MFT and OMD EM5, and ordered one today with 3 lenses. And thanks to the Olympus rebate I will get $300 back for the lenses.

Looking forward to trying it out.

Wish you all the best.

    Hi. Welcome!

I think you're going to like it here. And you're definitely going to like your new OMD. :)  Let us know if you have any questions about setting it up. Once you have the SCP set up, this camera is gold.

Welcome! I'm about to bite on this deal soon as well and transition from 4/3 to micro 4/3 with the OM-D E-M5 & 3 lenses.

    I think I'm getting the 12-50mm kit with the 17mm/1.8 and 45mm/1.8!

You may find the initial learning curve rather steep but don't despair! A little planning and setup for the way you shoot will go a long way toward making your camera really cool. Give yourself a few days to figure out the menus and how they affect the camera.

Don't open it at the end of a long day.

Make sure to charge the battery to full before you play!

It's such a great system. I use mine everyday and have since I got it 8 months ago. The IS is SO amazing and so is the 9fps!
