Wow! EPL1 is an old camera, but the colors on the 12MP sensor are super!

Welcome aboard, and please do share some pics! If you let us know what you like to take pictures of, we can recommend lenses (and spend your money, haha!)

I know. But I found one that looks as if it has just come out the factory. First one I got had a failed back up battery but managed to sell it on eBay with an honest description. So i got another.

I signed up here earlier this year but just discovered this forum section, so I will belatedly introduce myself. I am Keith, from Michigan, though I try to spend time in winter in far nicer climate.

I have been shooting with Olympus equipment since getting a little more serious about photography around 2010. Back then, I got started with a used E-300, then to an E-420, before ending up with an E-30 that I just loved. That served me well until I jumped on a factory refurbished equipment sale and got an E-M1 Mark II. The bad news about Olympus Imaging being sold off/taken over/whatever has me waiting to decide on what direction I go in the future.

My main targets are larger birds (especially those I can find in Florida over the winter), and motorsports.

Hi Keith, welcome. There are a few of we Michiganders here on the forum. Here's a link to something that may interest you. We're going to try to work it out for next season.

Hey everyone, I just joined the site. I'm a hobbyist that's gotten into photography more over the last couple years. I'm rocking the Lumix G9 and a host of lenses. Love the art and science of it all. Located in St. Louis, MO.

:Welcome: Well, let me be the first to say hello and welcome you to this brilliant site.
There's only one real problem with it and that is that everyone (well, most) are so friendly that you'll become addicted to it and will struggle to find time to actually go out and take photos.
Only joking, it's so inspirational that you'll be wanting to take lots to upload and entertain us all.
Looking forward to seeing what you've got,
Brian in Wales.

Thanks for the note. The amount of activity is overwhelming! Trying to figure out the best way to share photos.

Great website with civil discussions and very useful information.
The Little Fish is here.
I started with The Lumix LX100 for the amazing 4K video quality. Better 4K than any DSLR at the time. The LX100 was used to supplement my 4K videos with DSLR timelapse and landscape panoramas. I was so impressed with the ability of MFT that in 2018 I made the full switch to MFT using it for wildlife and birding.

Looking forward to learning more, and getting better.

It will post them for you under most circumstances, although lately they don't show if you link images from Flickr. You can still click on the image and see them on Flickr's page.
This is not true, there are a few steps that you need to take though.
