There is a new Kickstarter for a 58mm Petzval lens. This would equal 116mm on an MFT body, so would be perfect for portraits. It comes in Canon and Nikon mounts, so should be easily adaptable for MFT bodies.

Does anyone have the previous 85mm for any first-hand experience on fitting and usage?

I really like these lenses. If I had the disposable income, I would definitely look into getting one. However, they a expensive niche lenses. Fun to play around with, but maybe not the most useful.

I don't have any experience with it.

But, If you like swirly bokeh and an "antique" look, the old Helios 44 lenses can do this for you for a pretty affordable cost. They are Russian 58mm f2 primes modeled after 1950's era Carl Zeiss lenses.
