From the sample Japanese website pix shot wide open at f/0.8:

--#1 leaves against sun - good flare resistance, but weirdly color-balanced toward purple. Don't know color balance settings so can't comment on whether it's lens-induced or camera settings.

--#2 leaves against blue sky - vignetting seems well-controlled, maybe a stop down in the corners.

--#5 egg noodle dish - OOF highlights on the dish at lower left are very soft and almost circular.

--#7 faucet handle - very soft bokeh without harsh edges or transitions. The translator mentions "fluffy" on a few pix, I think this is what they're referring to.

Pic #3 of the restaurant - shot at f/2.8 - good microcontrast makes the different areas pop, otherwise it would look pretty washed-out.

I'm impressed.

Interesting. This is the 1st MF M4/3 lens I am aware of transferring data (my Laowa 7.5mm f2 lens does not do this). As it was just announced in August, maybe this is a sign that other lens manufacturers, including Voigtlander, will follow suit.
Hi, iirc, the now discontinued Tokina 300mm F6.3 Reflex lens has been the only one until now.
