Last November picked up a mini quadcopter (Hubsan X4H107L). Starting my 3rd childhood. Things have gone from flying a toy to "hobby" grade 450 size quad. Hope is to eventually develop the skills & knowledge needed to get into FPV(first person view) flying and aerial image capture. People have been using GoPros and other cameras for image capture. The "others" are either hacked security cams or dedicated quad units. Many with Sony sensors. Quad fliers seem to be gear, techno geeky group of people. More so than photo people. If it's new it's "better". The $$s get spent. Then the whimpering when the issues show up. Potential market expansion for Oly or Pany if they come out with a mu4/3 unit priced similar to GoPro. Would be nice to capture RAW/jpeg mu4/3 quality images vs. the smaller P&S ccd images. Image is why you start flying a toy quad. Captured with the good old GF-1 + Pany 20mm. Needs a bit of post capture processing.
