That was a research paper being presented, as such it probably won't get to the GH2 in time (in the article, it says "forthcoming digital cameras such as the GH2", not exactly the GH2 per say, but we can hope!).

Considering the article was from February, with the GH2 still over a half a year from any announcement, I would take this as largely supposition, Panasonic engineer or not.

Apparently Panasonic just pushed the announcement of the GH2/3 until right before Photokina, which means they're not ready for prime-time yet, and are going to wait to see what their competitors announce in the mean time. Not sure what to make of that - could either be a blunder and a sign that they got caught with their pants down, or a brilliant marketing ploy to build anticipation about the new camera and upstage the competition at Photokina. We'll have to wait another month to find out it seems.

I'm ready.

I have a 14-150mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH Leica D VARIO-ELMAR and I want to put it on then New GH2.

"A factor of 4 increase in sensitivity will allow the Micro 4/3rds camera to surpass the full frame Canon 5DMkII."

When do they normally make such announcements?
