Patience is not one of my virtues but the Oly version may be worth the wait. Panny 14-140's are coming on to the used market but are close to new prices.

Very reliable source.

As for the 14-140 well its excellent and equal to the 45-200 perhaps a little sharper.

It is VERY versatile and does x0.45 at max zoom so its great for flower closeups. It is heavy and feels ok on the EP-2 for balance but just.

Focus is VERY fast.

used on the EP-2 the output file will be corrected for distortion but NOT CA apparently.

All up its a lovely lens well made ideal for movie too (quiet) of course the Oly 14-150 m43 is not far away

Thanks for the extra welcomes. Nice to see a few Aussies too. John the 14-140 won't happen now - I have just ordered a 45-200 for under $300 US. Too good to pass up.
