Brand New Unopened Box Black E-M5 with 12-50 kit and FL-300R flash. UPC codes are not removed. Ordered directly from Olympus, however I already picked up a set in a local store and it was too late to cancel the pre-order. Offering it here instead of shipping back to Olympus. Paid $1625 and will take $1625 plus actual shipping cost Gift PayPal or 3% extra. Will be going away Fri so the set will be either going back to Olympus or if anyone is interested. Did not take anything out of the box so it's all as shipped.

Curious but why not return it? neither you (since I assume you're claiming one on the kit you're keeping) nor your buyer (since they are not the original purchaser) can claim the rebate which is a waste of $170 dollars, coupled with buying a brand new camera with no warranty for the same price as new...or you could send it back for $25. 3rd option, return the camera from olympus to the local store...gets you the taxes back - there are no identifying codes on the box that would distinguish where the camera came from, and it would save you the shipping cost.

Would the promotional rebate be transferable if someone wanted to get the FL-300R for free?

It's doubtful - here the tax is included while many could avoid it, plus you have to pay shipping, while stores ship it free, and I don't think you can get a rebate for accessory with somebody's name on the receipt...Just thoughts.
    Good luck with sale.

The serial numbers are on the box. I was told by the rebate team that the rebate can be claimed as long as it is one per address and my receipt is just a proof of purchase. I asked what happens if i buy two and can someone else claim the rebate too and was tols that as long as the person uses their own name and adress it should not be a problem Whoever is interested might want to verify that. I was not aware that the warranty does mot transfer. The camera will be going back to Olympus before I leave, just thought someone might be interested. Will not return it back to a local store since they were nice enough to hold one for me when they got it in and helped set it up.

If the camera isn't registered, I can't imagine the warranty isn't transferrable. What if you bought it as a gift for someone?

Where are you located? Some people near your locale might be interested. Are you anywhere near Philadelphia?

With all the moaning going on about "where's my camera" for the life of me I cant believe this is still here. I would be all over this if it was a silver kit.

I posted yesterday about my local shop having one in stock..all it would take was a phone call..but you guessed it..its still there

    "where's my camera"
and that is why I thought I will post it here instead of just dropping it off at UPS.
    here are the photos:

I agree some places you can avoid tax or shipping. Having no choice in having to pay both myself, it was not an issue. AS everyone can see, I am not profiting from the sale, just wanted to do something nice if anyone does need one right now. Would have appreciated an opportunity if the shoe was on the other foot

Ok let me see what I can do on my end to get the money but if someone gets to it first then so be it. I had a client ask for higher resolution for future shoots yesterday and I do need to keep my customers happy.

business trip, unfortunately, but will try to sneak in the camera. Now if anyone can help me decide in which lens to bring: 20, 25 or 45, my life would be a lot easier:)
