OK, the king is born, long live the new king, GH The Fourth.

But his lordship needs a name. What are we going to call him?

With a face like that, and bulging muscles to boot, there must be some tempting ideas!

Here are a few that come to mind.

The Power House - stolen from Mathieu's article on mirrorlessons

The Baby Beast - had to fit in a 'beast' somewhere!

The Nano Tank - in memory of the Canon T90!

The Hybrid Hump - pretty obvious

    Transformer 4000 - it's from the future....

Anybody want to contribute? I will put the complimentary suggestions into this post and compile a list.

    Just for fun.

MEMBER SUGGESTIONS - from your replies

DeathCam - because they used an unlucky '4' in the name

The ยต4/3 Combine Harvester - it does everything

King George Henry IV the Japanese Rottweiler - say no more!

My Camera - well, someone's already in love! Send it flowers, it's Valentine's day!

George Hamilton the Fourth - actually I don't get it?

The Fournicator - okay, maybe not that one! Is this what it does to other cameras?

Loretta - hopefully this one will make sense to me soon....

DeathCam since they dared to use the "4".

Well after recently rescuing a new Rottweiler, Georgie, I would say King George Henry IV the Japanese Rottweiler...

My vote is for deathcam, like stated above, it is because they dared to use "4".

Does anyone have a contact @ panasonic that could explain why they decided to use 4 on the GH model. They skipped it on every other model.

It was not a particularly clever idea for your thread in the first place, just an Aussie thang to be sure, "Arg".

What did they skip? GH1, GH2, GH3, and now GH4. I bet the next offering is the GH5 !!!

    @Chipshot713 the other series of cameras skip 4. I.e. Ever seen a GF4? Or a G4?

  16. I think that he just wanted to know your reasoning behind the name that you suggested, but then I'm only Australian.

Yes, I only wanted to know how you came up with Loretta.... it's interesting. I don't understand 'five minus one'....

P.S. this thread is strictly for (positive) fun. I'm having fun, hope you are too!
