i like the composure, reminds me of a shot i would take. he has a lot of character with just how he's dressed and we don't need to see his face, which was the assignment. the logos in the corner kinda crack me up as social media is everywhere.

i love the grit in the hands. the cigarette is a nice touch. this shot is how i feel every morning coming to work, cept i have coffee and not a cigarette.

this just shows how attached we are to our phones (most people anyway). the wrinkles in her forehead show there might be some stress, but hard to tell without seeing the eyes. she might feel better if she left the phone in the car.

anyway, judging photos and talking about them is tough. congrats to BAXTING and thanks for all the great submissions everyone!

Thank you kindly. I am very honored that you chose my submission as the winner. This quickly became a thread loaded with amazing shots. I enjoyed checking in and seeing the new submissions each day because of this.

About the picture. It is a personal favorite of mine that had not been previously shared. We had planned to meet some friends at the beach and decided we would show a bit earlier than the others. I went for a short walk with the dog and when I returned I found her asleep as pictured most likely waiting for a return text that was never received. It's amazing how accurate your description really is

Thank you again and thank you to everyone who participated. I will do my best to come up with a new original challenge within the next 24 hrs.
