From a recent trip to Shanghai:

I don't normally render my street photos in color, but something about these two really jumped out at me as needing to avoid monochrome conversion.

The hustle...:

I really like the rendering in the above shot. I'm also surprised at the subject isolation even at f4, however, I suppose there is quite a bit of distance between the girls and the background.

I would like to just sit here and see all these wonderful photos you are posting but it's been much more than 72 hours since I started this thread and I think we should move on.

So here are my selections...

The old lady on the scooter was awesome! The composition is not the best but I understand you probably had only a few seconds to grab your camera and take the photo. I can imagine the scene: like any other day, you are walking on the street; suddenly this old lady comes out of nowhere and bring a smile to your face. It is a funny and heartwarming photo!

Runner-up: Iconindustries

This photo is a very intriguing one. I want to know why he is holding this "HELP" sign. I am curious about that and if you can explain this picture, I would love to hear it. It is a little hard to see his face (especially with the distracting white cars in background) but it provides an extra layer of interest to this picture. Not only it raises a question (why "HELP"?) but it also has an interesting facial expression.

Winner: Livnius

First, it tells an urban story. Without this, it would hardly be classified as a Street Photo. But it has more: the exposure is superb (did you use manual mode?) and so is the composition. First, you were lucky the guy was standing right at that spot. Second, I think the longer focal length (which usually doesn't work in Street Photography) works really well here. The compression of the wall showing his graffiti, the isolation of the subject and the spray cans at the end of the alley all combine to tell this story in a wonderful way!

Besides these three there were many other photos I liked. I want to thank all of you for participating on this challenge and sharing your photos with us!
