OK so I bought my GH3 to test the waters and move up from gopro and consumer camcorders. Been very happy with the video I am getting out of it. But stills not so much.
I am shooting with the 14mm 2.5. Also have the 14 kit zoom.
    Problem
We just. Bought home a 8 week old Cairn terrier. Trying to get some good stills of this fast moving subject in room lighting is a challenge
I tried the fast action sports and animal presets. Blurry.
Tried shooting shutter priority but using the fast shutter pics are too dark even on high iso and added ezposure. Intelligent auto was a no go
Can someone suggest some settings to try?
seems like if I can get good video I should be able to get good stills

Indoors? Get a good flash and bounce it from ceiling.

(if I can get good video I should be able to get good stills) I'm afraid it does not work like that. A fast moving puppy would need a shutter speed of at least 1/1000 of a sec.
you are not going to get that indoors
