Hi, I have a 0.9 soft graduated ND filter, by SRB Photographic. The filter works well at wide-angle, but the soft transition zone appears to cause blurring (diffraction?) when the lens is zoomed. Equipment is a Panasonic GM1 with a 14-140mm lens. I have recently read in hindsight that hard transition graduated filters are better for M43's. Has anyone else found the same issue when zooming with more expensive / higher quality soft ND grads? Just wondering if this is an inherent problem with all soft ND grads or this particular brand.

Test examples of the issue below at different zoom settings...
    1. 14mm with no filter - all good:

    2. 14mm with 0.9 soft grad - no particular softening across centre at wide angle:
    3. 100mm with no filter - the roughcast on the wall is all in focus without filter:

    4. 100mm with soft grad - the soft transition zone caused blurring across the roughcast:

    5. 140mm with no filter - in focus without the filter:

    6. 140mm with 0.9 soft grad - clear blurring across the image:
