Can anyone please explain the difference in nano or -not nano coated Pany 25mm lens?
There's only one Panasonic 25mm lens for m4/3 - the Panasonic DG Leica 25mm f1.4. That is nano-coated.
The older Panasonic D Summilux 25mm f1.4 is a 4/3 lens. It is not nano-coated. It is also discontinued, hard to find, and generally priced higher (second-hand) than the m4/3 version.
Makes sense. Thanks for the explanation. I was confused by the price difference. I guess that why reading fine print is a must
Just as a side note... you can easily tell the Leica D (Four-Thirds) lens from the Leica DG (Micro Four-Thirds) lens by the aperture ring on the Leica D (Four-Thirds) version, which the DG lens does not have.
