Ive been an amateur mostly, a pro portrait shooter in the early 90s. Been snapping since I got my first fully manual Minolta ages ago in the Army. Dint know how to use it worth a damn!

I bought a Panny DMC-G2 as a backup for my Nikon D200. Started leaving the Nikon at home more and more. I have the standard kit lense 14-42, the 45-200 and a Nissin 4/3 bounce flash. even though it's bulkier than other 4/3 bodies, it's still feather light compared to Nikon's monster. I just didn't know a community like this existed.

    Thanks for the welcome!

    It's a red one, btw.

This is a great community and my role is to lure people for buying Olympus 45mm 1.8 lens hahahah . I am in love love with this lens and advocate that every MFT shooter should have this . This a benchmark portrait lens for MFT system .
Have a look at these threads and I also have a red EPL2 ...haha

Lol .Actually I had black EPL2 which I sold to get EPL3 but didn't like EPL3's grip so sold it. Now when I went to buy new EPL2 my six year old daughter was damn adamant just like her mum to force me to buy RED coloured camera ... How can I fight with two women??? I gave up but it looks cool actually ..

How are we posting here today? I'm on forum runner now, but the site on the net is shut down for SOMA awareness. People are still posting though. Hmm.

I did see some of your shots with the 45mm oly. Very impressive portrait lense.

Sent from my iPad using Forum Runner. So there beeches!
