My "White Buffalo" has arrived...

    I have been trying to get this lens for SO LONG. Finally grabbed one. A few snaps from today. On my NEX-5N, as I'm currently "in-between" M43 systems until the new Oly gets released....


    (Note: White Buffalo is an American term referring to a long desired, seemingly unobtainable object. Comes from Native American legend. Google it....)

    These pics look beautiful. Did you shoot wide open? Getting one of these is difficult enough, getting a nice one is even harder.

    Yes, wide-open for all except "awwww".

    No kidding! I actually had the equally rare Maxxum 100mm f/2. I would honestly say this one is better. No idea what Minolta did to make this thing sing like it does....

    In my heyday of bidding on Rokkor lenses on E-Bay, I was always outbid in the last moment for this exact lens and variant (and the Rokkor 35/1.8 and variant). I hope to see more photos of this lens in action from you. Thank you very much for sharing.
