I ordered some assessories for my OM-D after I ordered the camera body itself, as the gear head I am :)

Today the SEMA (adapter + external mic) arrived.

The other parts that I'm waiting for:

    - m.Zuiko 12-50 lens (got this really cheap)

    - Lane Camara Strap - non adjust neck strap (beige cord, black rings) & Thumb Screw

    And off course:

    - Olympus OM-D EM-5 black body

These parts comes from different vendors...

Is is interesting to see which part comes next...

    My own Olympus lottery :)

Highly recommend the grip, great build quality and versatile to use as well as offering a substantial support.

    Keep it growing!!

I probably order the grip some day...

I'm just going "cheap" now in the beginning of my "OM-D days" as I really am outside my camera budget.

I got the OM-D body only at a great prize. Then I found the m.Zuiko 12-50 at 140€ new (a lens taken apart from the OM-D kit). The SEMA was a must have as video is part of the intention behind the "OM-D move".

Just going to get a sense of how it is to operate like it is... then maybe a grip is coming my way :)

Now I just started to think about the body cap lens as it is so cheap... Does anybody own the Body Cap lens? Can you use that for something?

Now I got the m.Zuiko 12-50! Slowly my OM-D kit starts to come together :)

I've read that some describes this lens as big... But I must say that I find it tiny (compared the the Fujinon XF lenses I'm used to for my Fuji X-E1). The m.Zuiko 12-50 is so light compared to the Fujinon XF18-55!

It's going to be a light setup, OM-D, to carry around with :)

Now I'm just waiting for the camera itself and the straps.

I got to Lance Camera non adjust neck straps for my Fuji X-E1 and Fuji X00s, both 48inches. They are great!

This is the first Thumb screw I ordered so I don't yet know how it is to carry a camera from the bottom side. It will be interesting to see.

Just wanted to carry my coming OM-D in another way then the usual that I have for my Fuji cameras.

Charging finished. Took the OM-D out, took a shoot in my garden from a flower... Don´t understand much about this camera... I need to learn a lot...

Don´t understand yet how to see the picture in the back display... I just see the picture in the EVF right now... Many settings... I need to study it a lot :)

It is soo expensive though.. I've been wondering about third party grips or a second hand HLD-6.

I agree, my hands would enjoy a better grip :)

I have a friend selling his HLD-6 if you want I could facilitate the sale?
Looks like they sell for 200-230 around here. I know he has the receipt for it and would probably agree to sell for 220 (he is moving back to Nikon FF :frown:)

Let me know and I'll ask him.

You don't need the grip. I've been happily gripless for 14 months now with my OM-D.

You say that, Mike, and I used to say the same thing..... until I tried the grip in a store. It was then that I realised that I had to buy it.
