Images from a Pentax 110 Auto. Not sure where else to post them? Film is Lomography Color Tiger. Weird little camera, you can change nothing but the focus. These are low quality scans from the Darkroom. I am excited to get the negatives and see how the Oly 30mm Macro does on them, they're so small.

Kid of impressed with the quality though. All my 110's in the past were $9.95 P-n-S pocket cameras. I've never seen 110 film through a real lens before.

The Pentax 110 intrigues me to this day.

My grandfather had a complete system, but I dont think he used it much. He generally carried some sort of 110 camera, normally "higher" end agfas, but went off the beaten track when the disc cameras showed up, and also had a tiny foray with the Minox spy camera.

There's one for sale in Buy and Sell! I have the 18, 24, and 50mm lenses. Would like to have the 70 but don't use the camera that much. They also made a zoom that would be fun.

I picked mine up from @barry13

I won one of the first very cheap Kodak 110 cameras in a photographic competition.
I never got one decent photo out of it as the lens itself was so bad.

One thing I do remember from that time were complaints sent to several processing companies.
Lots of people were saying that the prints they got back looked familiar but none of the people in the shots did.
Legend has it that they were using the cameras "back to front" and taking photos of people standing behind them.

There where some truly atrocious cameras out there in the 110 category.

My first ever self-bought camera came in that category. A Kodak thingy, with a rod flash of the disposable type and one cassette of 110 film. Basically a plastic box with a ditto lens. Paid about a tenner, processing of the 24 pic did cost twice as much. The year after I sprung for the first SLR. The best that can be said for it was that it was handy...

That was the genius of Kodak. They weren't really a camera company as much as a film company. They made a ton of cheap cameras and gave them away to boy scouts, fair goers, anyone that'd buy and develop film was the target. And, if they graduated to one of the more expensive Kodak cameras so much the better. Film like 620 was invented to take advantage of a market, not because it was anything newer or better.

Wow, that's pretty impressive for such a small frame! I picked up one of these kits for the lenses (camera doesn't work) but haven't really done anything with them. I do have a Minolta 110 SLR that fires so maybe I should pick up a cartridge of that Lomography Color Tiger and give it a whirl.

If you want to see something very cool, check out Lomography's website and the 'Metropolis' film. Look at the samples. Would be very cool for street photography.

Here's another. The first ones were touched up with MS photo software at work, this one was with Darktable. I'm hoping that when I scan with my camera and macro lens the quality will increase.
