I really think you have a few nice shots in your short review. The ones with the cats up againts the door is really good. Is this really the place for a Fuji review?

Yes, this thread is under "Other Systems", so there is no reason this review not to be here.

    Thanks everyone! :) much appreciated!

Thanks Taz that's what I was just going to reply :) Also - if you look around my threads, I used to use mu-43 gear for a while and just love the community here :)
It's not all about the gear as much as about our passion for photography and the photographs we share with each other.
Thanks for the compliment on the cat picture - i was just at the right place/right time!

Thanks for sharing your impressions. A friend of mine is rather unhappy with his X-E1's AF performance (he has the 14/2.8, the 18-55/2.8-4.0). Question - does the X-E2 perform significantly better than the X-E1 when both have the latest firmware?

Beautiful shots. The new XF23mm is a stunning lens. I had a love/hate relationship with my Fuji XE1 before myself. Hated it when it wouldn't nail focus and would start hunting, but would love it when it would surprise me the quality of it's rendering... particularly the XF35. I wouldn't ever rule out getting a Fuji again. I love that they listen to their customers with firmware updates. Delighted that they fixed the autofocus speed ... that will make the XE2 a great tool.
Out of interest.... how do you find the continuous focus on the XE2?

Really enjoyed your photo's though. Beautiful. I reckon you are the type of person that can make any camera look good :)

Thanks for the kind words! Much appreciated :)
I don't typically use C-AF so I can't comment on that sorry - however they definitely improved the S-AF thats for SURE!
