Over the holiday break I thought up a photo project as a way of spending a bit of time out with the camera. My idea was to photograph the shoreline of the eastern San Francisco Bay between the Bay and Richmond San Rafael bridges in black and white. I realized that there is a lot of ground to cover there, with lots of interesting material, only small amounts of which I was able to reach in the limited time I had. It might turn into a bigger project. Anyway, here are a few of the results.

Nice work. Numbers 3 and 5 do it for me.

Stunning captures! I would venture it offers potential for far more than "a bigger project". Fabulous opportunity.

    Nice set.
I liked 3, 4 & 5 the best. No. 1 has a different feel to it from the others. I wouldn't have chosen it as your lead photo. Otherwise I think they give a good sense of place, express a mood and show a good sense of pattern and design. Good work.
