My gear has stopped working

This was posted on another forum so i checked mine, check yours.

Yes nothing works the cameras will not turn on, the lenses will not focus, cant get batteries in my flash guns.
Its a bit of a mystery as its spreading world wide, some say its the joint fault of Nikon,Canon and Fuji for
launching new cameras.

@panamike I hear you. It's called gear-sulk. Take your cameras out for some serious shooting, it'll instantly revive them.

P.S. The only camera that has a sulk function built-in that it can activate on a whim is the Sony A7 II. :mu43: cameras are a lot more resilient.

it might be the new xPhone that is spreading some camera incapacitating virus. a couple of aspirin in a hot bath should help (remember that the camera has to be fully submerged).

When I was a musician we referred to it as GAS: Gear Acquisition Syndrome.

If you mention to your wife you have a really bad case of GAS, she'll likely tell you to leave the house and take care of it.

Problem solved.
