All 400TX or Delta 400 processed in XTOL for EI1600, shot with an M7.

I am mostly shooting the Leica with film these days, using the Olympus mainly with the 60mm macro to scan the negatives. And anyone grumbling about u4/3 sensor quality has clearly not shot push processed film for a while ;-)

From my first attempt at developing C41 using the Cinestill liquid kit. Overall, development is pretty easy, but still experimenting with a few things to get the consistency and results I'm looking for.

Those look great! I'm glad to hear you say the kit is fairly easy, as I've thought about picking it up. I'm using Cinestill DF96 monobath for black and white and getting fairly good results, I've developed probably close to a dozen rolls now and it's pretty simple stuff. C41 would be a definite skill upgrade.

I've heard great things about the DF96, i'll probably eventually get around to trying it! For the C41, I got a cheap sous vide off of amazon which helped my temps remain hot and consistent. Other than the temp, it's pretty similar. Also one thing I like about developing c41 is you can mix and match film stocks.

Found some of my Dad's old B&W negs circa 1974. That's me in the stylin' jacket and plaid pants. The second is of my high school girl friend, about 1987. Love the first one! But that second pic...so wonderful! Looks like it could've been in the pages of Seventeen magazine back in the day!

So sorry to see that's happened to your negatives. I tried to start digitizing mine a few years ago with a scanner the hubby bought me for Xmas, for just that purpose. It was a frustrating and thankless process where I spent about 2 days scanning and scanning with really crappy results. Then my cat chewed through the power cord. ? Seeing this is making think I need to get to digitizing again, at the very least, all the prints I have from the negatives.

I love this camera. My only complaint is that after shooting Oly M43 for a decade, it's so BIG! I find I don't take it out as often as I should.

It does have the eye focus ability! The initial tests I did before the batteries died on me were very positive!

The sad thing is this kit was cheaper than my D70, in 2004.​

I find it just FUN to take out the old film gear, and slow down and shoot.
