So, I have been using the :43: system for a year now and I am very pleased. I started with an E-PL1 and now have an E-PL3 (I can't afford the new E-M5!) I wanted to share my top 20 shots from the year (in no particular order):

    PB2529621.

    PA222449.

    P9282222.

    P8061376.

    P91720531.

    P8291758.

    P81315191.

    P80613741.

    P80311281.

    P72808831.

    P7280880.

    P7280877.

    P3174704.

    P3034653.

    P2064381.

Taken with a variety of lenses. Mainly Pana 45mm-200mm, PL 25mm, Oly 45mm and my now sold Oly 50mm f3.5 Legacy macro, one with the P14 f2.5mm and one with my now sold 20mm f1.7. I hope you enjoy them!

why did you change to a e-pl3?

I loved the photos ... thanks!!

I am thinking of moving from a e-pl1 to an e-p3 having decided an e-m5 is overkill but would love to convince myself that the e-pl3 is just as good an option, and pocket the difference. Did you go through the same thought process?

Thanks. I upgraded before the E-M5 had even been announced. To be honest, I can't see a huge difference in terms of IQ, maybe better ISO performance in low light and faster AF (with certain lenses)... but operating the E-PL3 is much easier. There is the scroll wheel for changing aperture (or whatever you want) and the flip screen is really handy. If I had not upgraded, I would wait until the E-PL5 or equivalent comes out. It will probably have better IBIS and for sure a better sensor and high ISO quality.
