i got my gf1 friday, and yesterday we went on a shooting trip to marina del rey. i definitely found the monitor was hard to use about 25% of the time because of too much sun and/or reflection, but overall was very pleased. i find the camera much more intuitive than my old 30d, and easier to use overall, and while i always used to shoot in manual, i tried shutter priority, restricted ISO to 800 and above, and am very happy with the results. i have more experimenting to do with various settings, but overall i am one happy camper :)
