EDIT: Just realised the title can be misleading... Just to clarify, this isn't my baby :)

I had a close friend ask me to take some photos of them and their new baby (now about 3-4 months old). I don't tend to do many planned portrait photography, and I did suggest my friend to go to a professional if he wanted something profressional. They just wanted some nice photos they could post on facebook, but I still wanted to do a good job. Beside their baby girl is a cutie and it was a good opportunity for me use my lenses more.

Some of shots were planned and staged, but some were taken casually through out the day (as we chat and catch up with mum and dad). Gave a variety of my lenses a good workout - 12-40, 45 , 60, 75. 45 was probably used most. I also liked the 75, however was sometimes hard finding the room for it indoors. 60mm for some hand/feet shots - though I might have been able to use the close focusing distance of the 12-40 instead. We went into the night, where I use fl600r for some bounced flash shots. I had two bodies EM1 and Gm5

Looking back there were somethings I felt could have improved. But here are some of my results:

Oh, these pictures make me regret that I wasn't into photography when my son was a baby! I would love to have some high quality shots like these from that time period. I only had an early digital model Olympus point and shoot at the time. I think its JPG files were well under 1 MB at max resolution.

I guess I will have to wait for grandchildren, but that is at least 10 years away (I hope!)

Yeah she's got cute chubby cheeks! It was fun taking these shots for them :)
