Murrays Beach is on Lake Macquarie, just South of Newcastle, the second largest city in my home state of New South Wales. It is around a 2 hour drive North for me but an hour of that is just getting out of Sydney.

I really don't get Murrays Beach - there is no beach but it is a nice little spot. It is a new housing development and has nice recreational facilities. Pity about the coal fired power stations scattered around Lake Macquarie and other nearby spots.

OK, the big bright thingie is on the way down...

The wedding party has gone now and the fishie people are back. Peaceful but really weird lights on the jetty that go on and off at random - Dodgy Bros Electrics.

I really like the strange light in the last image. Well captured.
