Mummers Parade (New Years Day) - Meet Up!

    So, Mummers Day is approaching.
    I hear that people not from Philadelphia might call this, New Years Day.
    I don't believe that, I think it's a rumor.
    Anyway, I will be there rain or shine.

    If anyone wants to meet up, post on this thread.

    Very possible Don. I can't commit because my daughter is going to be in town all too briefly for the holidays (from the west coast) and I'm pretty sure she's leaving the next morning, early. So it may depend on what she feels like doing that day and how much I'm starting to anticipate missing her. And if the weather is too brutal, well, I'm a wimp.

    Bottom line, there's a very good chance I'll be there - I'd really love to make it in - but I probably won't be able to let you know for sure until a couple of days before hand.

    Looks like my daughter and I are going to come in. Weather looks OK and we're both ready to get out of the house! Will probably spend most of the day walking around with here, but would love to meet for coffee or cheesesteak or something. She'll probably even sit with us if we promise not to talk too much about the technical details of photography. ;) 

    Very flexible on where/when. Let me know what works best for you.

    I will be around 16th and JFK starting at 0830. I walk all over but that's where I get my best work for the last 35+ years. That's the end of the parade and the Mummers are pretty well hyped and soused by the time they get there.
    A cheese steak sounds about right. Call me when ya get in town.

    I think that a few other shooters will be there as I got confirmation from some. We just meet, talk and split to do our own work....
