Just to clarify, the type-C connection port is USB-3, along with I believe 2-3 other port options. The big advantage we can hope they include with USB-3 is charging via USB instead of charging blocks.

That plus using standard USB-C cables.....no more or the weird micro mini small USB bastard ports with hard to find cables. I use a 25watt USB-C charger to do faster charging on my iPhone and iPad. That would be great to charge a battery via USB-C inside the camera or.....via a battery holder outside the camera.

Except that is not happening. For one USB is 5 volts while the battery is 7.3 volts. Step up circuitry is possible but not something you would put into a camera like this.

What does the new flash, fl-900, bring to the table? It will be more than double the current cost of the fl-600.

It will bring an equivalent to the FL50R but with a video light etc. & multiflash ability.

What battery voltage is it & does the camera use a battery grip?

Don't worry I looked it up. It's 7.2v with no battery grip & that would one reason why it isn't done on the E-M1 II with a grip.
