It's probably because I'm cheap, but the Panasonic G85 has the most appeal to me. It's an E-M5 mk.II with 4k!

Yes, the G85 is a bit tempting, more so than the GX80/85/GX7 MKII. Is the 12-60mm a weather sealed lens?

No word from Panasonic yet, but considering the G85 is sealed, hopefully the new lenses will be too.

And iirc, the other Pana 12-60 is sealed.

Huh, I wonder if this and the new Panny/Pocket Wizard will work cross platform. Not sure that I'd jump ship to either of them atm, but more support for the system is always welcome.

That Panny 8-18 is pretty tempting though.

Anything on the other new macro ring flash people mentioned earlier?

Talk about a change....going from all the weird micro USB port running USB 2 speed......to USB 3 over a USB-C port? Looks like someone is trying to up their game. Now if both SD card slots did UHS-II....instead of just slot 1. Was that a cost saving move?

I've seen both ports quoted as being UHS II in a number of places. I guess we'll only know for sure once the dust settles.

Just to clarify, the type-C connection port is USB-3, along with I believe 2-3 other port options. The big advantage we can hope they include with USB-3 is charging via USB instead of charging blocks.

That plus using standard USB-C cables.....no more or the weird micro mini small USB bastard ports with hard to find cables. I use a 25watt USB-C charger to do faster charging on my iPhone and iPad. That would be great to charge a battery via USB-C inside the camera or.....via a battery holder outside the camera.

Any rumors on the date for the formal release announcement that would give use list prices, preorder dates, and shipping dates?

So, Canon recently announced its new mirrorless camera, which looks pretty good.

Since then, for m4/3, 5 new cameras have been announced (E-M1ii, E-PL8, GH5, G85, Yi), 4 new prime lenses (Laowa 7.5, Oly 25&30, Yi 42.5), and 5 zoom lenses (Oly 12-100, 3 Panasonic, Yi 12-40). Even if the Yi products don't meet our standards, still a great couple of weeks for m4/3, really highlighting the strength of the system.

I really hope in-body charging is supported. One less than to bring when traveling.

I wonder if the following spec effective limits bursts to a maximum of 99 frames?
Sequential shooting frame count 1- 99 frames

Hopefully nothing more than a buffer limit

What does the new flash, fl-900, bring to the table? It will be more than double the current cost of the fl-600.
